About the Artist
My work with abstract art is characterized by a dynamic and energetic universe of color—an expression of my passions and experiences in life.
Danish nature—especially the North Sea coast—is a major source of inspiration for me. The landscape and the light are constantly changing, and this fascinates me every time I visit the area. The changing seasons—from the raw, wild nature of winter to the warm tones of spring and summer and the scent of rose hips—give me renewed energy and inspiration for color.
I also draw great inspiration from my travels in both southern and northern Spain. The contrasts in culture, nature, wildlife, and the shifting light in the mountains leave a deep impression on my work. It is this meeting of sensory impressions and moods that I seek to translate onto the canvas.
