Christina Clark
My name is Christina Clark, og I am a professional artist.
As most people, I loved drawing as a child, and I spent hours locked away in my own, little bubble. However, it was only as an adult I could see how much chaos there had been in my life growing up. And, I realized that creating art was extremely therapeutic to me. So, I painted, and painted, and painted.
But it wasn’t until the start of 2021 that I felt an urge to display my art publicly. I started by setting up an Instagram account dedicated to my art, and, to my great surprise, after about one week and 10 posts, I was contacted by a production company and asked to participate in Danmarks Bedste Portrætmaler (the Danish equivalent of Artist of the Year). I was selected as one of eight participants by the experienced and professional judges. In 2021, I was also was invited by the Danish Art Critic, Tom Jørgensen to contribute to the art book 101 Kunstnere [101 Artists] – a book that presents a curated selection of contemporary artists.
Since 2021, I haven’t looked back. I have worked hard on developing my style and skills, and I absolutely love what I do, because creating art is a space where I can pause, reset and gather strength amid life’s past and present chaos.
My work is rooted in serenity, light, and hope, offering a moment of calm that restores clarity. Each piece is an invitation to breathe deeper, reconnect with peace, and carry that renewed calm into life’s challenges.
I invite you to experience my art as a sanctuary of calm
